The procedure takes about 10–30 minutes, depending on the area treated. Your provider will use a fine needle to administer the neuromodulator with minimal discomfort. Results begin to appear within 5–7 days (2–3 days for Dysport) and reach their peak at 2 weeks.

After getting Botox injections, you can generally return to your normal activities right away, but you should take some precautions to help with the healing process:

• Avoid putting pressure on the treated area: For 12 hours, don't rub, massage, or lean on the area. You should also be careful about your sleeping position and avoid resting your face on your hands. 

• Stay upright: Avoid lying down for 3–4 hours after treatment. 

• Avoid strenuous activity: Don't do any physical exertion for 24 hours. 

• Protect from heat: Avoid saunas, hot tubs, tanning, and excessive heat or sun exposure for 4 hours. 

• Use ice: You can use an ice pack or cool compress to help with swelling, redness, and soreness. 

• Avoid certain substances: Avoid alcohol, blood thinners, and some herbal supplements, which can cause bruising. 

• Be patient: It can take several days to a week for the results to appear. 

• Schedule a follow-up: Follow any additional instructions from your healthcare provider and schedule a follow-up appointment. swelling or redness may occur.

We charge $12 per unit of Botox and $5 per unit of Dysport. Typically, 1 unit of Botox is as effective as 2-3 units of Dysport, so the total cost of treatment for Botox and Dysport tends to be about the same for both.
