my philosophy

I approach every patient as I would wish to be treated myself. My philosophy is to enhance natural beauty rather than alter looks. This creation of a natural look is a key part of my approach to a patient. In the last 5 years, the trend has changed; the key is not to like you have had something done. It is about the ‘make-under’ rather than a ‘make-over’ effect. I believe a soft natural enhancement of features with a softening of lines to give a fresh look is my trademark. What I strive to achieve at Simplicity is to make people look as good as they can for their age. The way I approach treatment is to make patients look refreshed and rejuvenated, but they still look like themselves, just better. I like to make my clients look as good as they feel, vibrant, active, and renewed. Simply to look and feel their best.

my thoughts on Simplicity

I’m a fan of simple and simplicity. When I tackle a topic, I don’t think I’m done until I’ve found the simplest way to look at it. I think of simplicity as a process. You can’t always start there, but you can find it or create more of it as you go. I also think of simplicity as a by-product. It happens when I find the elegant path or the simple truth. Sometimes I see simplicity as a means to an end — where the end is a simpler understanding or a simpler result or a simpler way to share. Sometimes I have to look backward to find simplicity — I can’t always find simplicity upfront, but sometimes when I look back, it was there all along, hidden among the chaos, or I didn’t have the right focus.

The most important thing I’ve learned about simplicity is that simplicity wins in the long run. Simple is stickier than complexity, and it survives. I think nature teaches us that, and we learn it time and again in work and life. KISS-“keep it super simple” will be my guide with owning and operating this new business adventure!

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”
